Kids' City Director

This role entails raising a movement of next-generation leaders who are well-discipled and fearlessly changing their world. The person will do this through, overall leadership, direction, planning, organizing, and executing the curriculum of Kids’ City. They will also recruit volunteers and parents, equipping them to achieve goals and objectives that will intentionally disciple our kids. Kids’ City provides a safe and fun discipling environment where children are able to learn about Christ. Under the supervision of the Executive Pastor, the Minister to Children plans, conducts, and evaluates a comprehensive Children’s Ministry (CM) that focuses on the spiritual growth of children along the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge (FBCW) 4D Discipleship Pathway. The Children’s Minister ministers to children from birth through 6th grade and their families. While CM tasks are the primary responsibility, the Children’s Minister will also work in concert with the FBCW staff and be available to assist other staff members when needed on projects and tasks unrelated to the CM. Church Residency Positions
Columbia Baptist has several Church Residency Positions including Student Ministry Pastoral Resident, Children's Ministry Pastoral Resident, and Worship, Music, and Arts Pastoral Resident. The Residency provides hands on ministry leadership experience under the supervision of an experienced pastor who will coach and develop you as a pastor. The program is part-time, 20-25 hours per week for up to 2 years and also includes weekly leadership development training sessions about how to be a strong spiritual and organizational leader.
