NorthStar's Fall Gathering this year will be featuring a concert by Voices of Lee.
Celebrating 24 years of touring, the Voices of Lee from Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee has captivated audiences worldwide. Directed by Danny Murray, this 15 member group is characterized by their unique variety of lush vocal harmonies, along with high energy contemporary a cappella arrangements of several genres. They have toured Europe with concerts at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and England’s Ely Cathedral and have been featured performers for Christmas at the White House in Washington D.C. Their convention appearances have taken them from Israel to Ontario and numerous U.S. cities. The ensemble was propelled into the International Spotlight on the debut season of NBC’s Sing-Off, a competition for a cappella groups. Out of thousands of auditions, Voices of Lee was selected as one of eight groups to compete and was featured on four prime time NBC network episodes. After nationwide voting, the Voices of Lee finished as second runner up in the Sing-Off. Most recently, the Voices of Lee was voted 2018 “Favorite Collegiate Group,” “Favorite Religious Group,” and “Favorite Video” by The International A cappella Music Awards’ voting audience. They were featured performers in China at the Shang Hai International Music Festival and in 2018 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Voices of Lee has recorded 15 audio CD projects. Most recently, they produced video recordings of three current worship songs which have exceeded 83 million views online.
Voices of Lee performed at NorthStar's Women's Conference earlier this year and blew everyone away. NorthStar was quick to start the process to bring them back for a full concert.
