  • 2024: $8,235 for Church Planting & Revitalization, Leadership Development Scholarships, and Mini-Grants to Churches

  • 2023: $16,154 for Pastor Sabbatical Scholarships and Regional Connections for Spouses (Pastors’ Wives Ministry)

  • 2022: $10,583 for Church Planting in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC

  • 2021: $16,360 for Church Planting in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC

  • 2020: $14,701 for Feed My Starving Children

  • 2019: $20,343 for Mission Center DC and Feed My Starving Children

Dorothy Allport Network Mission Offering

For over 25 years, Dorothy Allport was a dedicated volunteer serving the member churches of NorthStar Church Network. For 77 years, Dorothy was an active member of First Baptist Church of Alexandria serving in a variety of leadership positions from Pastor Search Committee (3 times!), Secretary to the Senior Pastor, and Clerk for 30 years!

No one exemplified church more than Dorothy Allport, so in 2009, the Network Council of NorthStar Church Network established the annual Dorothy Allport Network Mission Offering. NorthStar is privileged to have a Network Mission Offering honoring this outstanding lady. Dorothy's faithfulness, tireless energy, and gentle spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her.
