Colonial Beach Baptist Church
25 hours a week
Nestled in the charming waterfront town of Colonial Beach, Virginia—where the Potomac River meets history—Colonial Beach Baptist Church invites a passionate pastor to guide us into a dynamic new chapter. Located in Westmoreland County, our community is rich with heritage, boasting ties to the birthplace of Presidents George Washington and James Monroe. Here, where the past inspires the present, our congregation has been faithfully serving for over 125 years, celebrating this milestone in 2022 and eagerly looking ahead to our 130th anniversary in 2027.
Our congregation is a welcoming, multigenerational family, with an average Sunday attendance of 50-60. We’re a church deeply rooted in our community, dedicated to shining Christ’s light in practical, impactful ways. Through ministries like our Food Pantry, Cinderella’s Closet clothing outreach, RA’s, GA’s, and Youth Group, we actively serve our neighbors while nurturing the spiritual growth of every member, from preschoolers to retirees.
We’re searching for a pastor with a heart for God’s Word and His people—someone who preaches and teaches the Gospel with clarity and conviction, walks alongside the hurting with compassion, and encourages spiritual growth that ripples beyond the church walls. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to build strong relationships within our church family while strengthening connections in the greater Colonial Beach community. If you feel called to lead a church steeped in tradition but with its eyes on the future, we’d love to hear from you. Contact us at psccbbc25@gmail.com to take the first step toward this exciting opportunity! (Posted 3/12/2025) -
